Our Lady of Sorrows

At school today a mass was organized for the occasion of Our Lady of Sorrows.  Parish Priest Dun Kalcidon presided over mass with the help of altar boys from our school.  Pupils were involved in all stages of the mass with various readings and prayers directed by Ms Borg Vella, assistant head.

Cereal Cookies…

The Kinder students of Ms Janice Vella and Ms Marija Spiteri have been busy preparing some delicious cereal cookies. The cookies were then presented in cup cakes. Such activities enhance the students’ fine motor skills, while learning food handling techniques 🙂

Easter Figolli

The Kinder 1 students of Ms Joanne Galea, Ms Josianne Camilleri and Ms Sarah Ann Bonello have been busy preparing the traditional Figolli in a run up for the Easter festivities. The students enjoyed themselves while enhancing their fine motor skills during this cooking activity.

Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples

The year 6 students of Ms Raisa Cutajar and Ms Ingrid Frendo visited the temples of Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra. Such visits serve as fieldwork for students. Enhancing Creativity through Art…

A holistic education programme would be incomplete if students are not encouraged to enhance their creativity through artistic skills and techniques. Our art teacher, Mr Scicluna, does his utmost to encourage students to be creative while creating their own works of art using various techniques. Well done to our little artists 🙂
