Fun with aeroplanes…

The Kindergarten students of Ms Joanne have been busy learning about colours by making their own planes using various techniques. Kite paper was glued to the outline of the body of the aeroplane. Hand prints were used to make the wings. Through such activities students enhance their fine motor skills, while learning through play.

Mathematics galore…

The Year 2 students of Ms Janice practising their tens and ones in pairs during maths lesson. These hands-on sessions are a very good way for students to learn mathematical concepts at an early age.

Election Fever…

This week is election campaign week at our school.  Nominees for student council are being given the chance to present their manifesto through charts and write ups during morning assembly. The Student Council Election is being run by Ms Borg Vella, assistant head.

Little Scientists at Work…

Students in Ms Claudine’s class of Yr 4.2 today conducted an experiment that is sometimes called Elephant’s Toothpaste.  In this experiment they mixed food colour, detergent, hydrogen peroxide and yeast dissolved in water in a plastic bottle using a funnel.  This created foam that shot up from bottles.  Experiment created heat too as bottle was […]
