Bidding Farewell to Our Year 6 Students

As the journey of our Year 6 students comes to end, we wish them the best of luck for their future. Pursue your dreams and never let anyone bring you down… You make us proud 🙂 Heartfelt thanks to the parents for the wonderful thoughts and their appreciation!

Water Play…

It’s that time of the year again… Summer kicks off officially on 21st June. The Kindergarten students of Ms Janice and Ms Marija are gearing up for this season through water play. The students enjoyed playing with water and having a whale of a time with their classmates.

Dinja Waħda Ambassadors

 Ms Rodgers, together with the Green Club members, had the opportunity to act as an ambassador for the Dinja Waħda projects by sharing good practice with and assistant head from the school of San Lawrenz, Gozo. We look forward for future eTwinning projects together.

Celebrating the First Holy Communion

The school celebrated the First Holy Communion of the Year 2 students, together with their teachers, parents and learning support assistants. The students prepared crafts which were displayed on notice boards for this special occasion. The school would like to thank the school council and parents helpers for ensuring the success of this event.

Lego for story starters

The Yr 5.2 students learning in an innovative way by using Lego to build their own story starters. The set up is then used to write up their own stories using the characters and scenes created and their tablets.

Breaking Gender Stereotypes

The Mgarr Football Ladies Teams visited our school to promote football among our students. The children enjoyed this session held by the female team. The team presented the school with a signed T-Shirt of their club.

World Book Day Comptetion

The Year 4 students participated in a competition held during World Book Day by the National Literacy Agency. The students were awarded two books each following their in-class presentations about books they read. The students also prepared costumes to impersonate their favourite character from the book they read. Well done students 🙂
