For the third consecutive year, the Foundation for Educational Services is launching the Skolasajf 2021 Logo Competition. The competition will this year be open on a nationwide scale for children from three years upwards.

The theme chosen for this year is ‘An I in every wInner’. This slogan aims to punctuate the importance that every individual has his own individual talents which can make him successful in his chosen path. Every person, whether children and adults, should be encouraged to cultivate their strengths, and to feel good about their abilities. Together we can contribute to be a winning team.

Children will be able to use their creativity to have their design as the official themed logo for Skolasajf 2021. The competition is NOW open, and the deadline is 22nd January 2021.

Winners will be notified by the end of February 2021. The award ceremony will be held in March 2021. The Foundation for Educational Services will be awarding the best three entries.

Let us all enjoy watching our little ones singing and dancing to a variety of Christmas songs. Finally, we would like to thank all our educators for their constant support and dedication.

The Science Centre within the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes, is launching SfidaSTEM. The aim of the initiative is to engage primary students in critical thinking and creativity through theme based STEM activities.

SfidaSTEM activities will be launched on the Facebook page Primary Science Malta on the first Friday of every month. This initiative targets three different categories, namely:

Category 1: Year 1 and Year 2

Category 2: Year 3 and Year 4

Category 3: Year 5 and Year 6

Students are highly encouraged to share photos/videos of SfidaSTEM activity results on our Facebook page Primary Science Malta.

From this Monday 7th December 2020 we are going to be taking orders for packed mince pies in aid of Malta Community Chest Fund. The mince pies bought, will be sent with the students. They are made by the very talented staff of ITS. Send your orders by Monday 14th December 2020
