Learner based teaching and learning with the Kinder 1.5 students.

An educational outing based on sensory tuff trays sessions on theme which emerged from our students on transport. There was story telling time and freeplay.

Children were given a triangular piece of paper cut in the shape of a kite.  They were given leaves and twigs, some glue and string. We built a kite together using nature loose objects such as leaves and twigs.  They eventually, which was quite interesting, went to use the loose wooden parts and pretend play that they are driving a car.
