SfidaSTEM – Hello Spring!

Kindly note that the Primary Science team within the Science Centre (DLAP), has launched the March edition for SfidaSTEM – Hello Spring! in the Primary Science Facebook group. The aim of the initiative is to engage primary students in critical thinking and creativity through theme based STEM activities.

This initiative targets three different categories, namely:

Category 1: Year 1 and Year 2 – Blooming Flowers

Category 2: Year 3 and Year 4 – Windmill

Category 3: Year 5 and Year 6 – Greenhouse

Students are highly encouraged to share photos/videos of SfidaSTEM activity results in our Facebook group Primary Science Malta.

SfidaSTEM activities are shared through College MS Teams channels and also on the Primary Science website.

Competition – Cover of School Magazine

Dear parents/guardians

For the next issue of the school magazine we are launching a competition.  We would like our front cover to be inspired by the work of our pupils.  Therefore we are inviting all pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 to take part in this competition and draw what they think would be the best cover for the school magazine.  One of them will be the cover of this year’s edition.

Kindly encourage children to take part in this competition.  At the back of each drawing do not forget to write the name and class of the student.

Britannica Digital Learning Resources for all

Since our school placed second for school leadership for the EMBED awards, we, as a school, were given the use of Britannica Digital Learning resources. Our educators and students can benefit for a whole year. In the coming days, educators will be given username, password, videos to train them and even face to face training sessions. The educators will guide your children on how these resources can be used. We are very happy that our school will be able to benefit from such a good digital tool.
