As an introduction to the English writing lesson: “How to write good instructions”, the Yr 5.2 students were asked to prepare their own delicious sandwiches.

Following this activity and after a brief explanation by the teacher, students did an interactive whiteboard activity where they were asked to arrange the muddled instructions on how to wrap a present in the correct order.

By the end of the lesson students were able to write the instructions on how to make a delicious sandwich, using bossy verbs and time connectives.

This made learning more fun 🙂
