The yr 3.1 students of Ms Sharon during group work held in class. During the Maltese lesson students talked about konsonanti qamrin u xemxin. The children were divided in groups. Each group was given a task card with a set of instructions on them. Namely, they had to read the list of words given (each group had a different set of words). Then they had to categorize the words in 2 groups – qamrin / xemxin.  On the mini whiteboard they drew a sun and a moon. They wrote the qamrin words in the moon and the xemxin words in the sun.
