During a listening comprehension activity the students were introduced to some vocabulary related to Maltese feasts, and pictures were also discussed.  The song ‘Il-Festa’ by Mary Rose Mallia was played and the students had to answer questions related to the lyrics, in order to assess understanding. The lyrics were then given in groups. The students had to put the verses of the song in order to assess listening skills. The students really enjoyed the lesson which ended with all the students singing along together.
