The band of the Armed Forces of Malta visited our school to promote various musical instruments. Students learnt about the different families, namely brass, wind and percussion instruments. The first session, dedicated to the younger students, was based on the story of Peter and Wolf accompanied by various instruments. Introduction to various instruments followed for the elder students.
Finally the Army soldiers honoured us with a concert. It was evident that the soldiers are very well trained musicians who have the ability to entertain a crowd even solo. The school would like to thank Warrant officer Vella for meeting our request and Ms Janice Vella Muscat, yr 2 teacher, for making this event possible.
