Model making using LEGO for creative writing
The Yr 2.2 students of Ms Stephanie prepared models using LEGO blocks for story starters. Their models were used to for creative writing.

Back in time
The Year 2 students of Ms Stephanie Azzopardi visited Ta’ Ħaġrat temples for a hands-on learning experience. Apart from observing the stones and how the temple is built and geographical located, students debated on how the roof could have been built.

Old MacDonald had a farm…
The Year 2 students visited a farm at Mġarr. During this visits students learned about sheep, goats and piglets too.
They fed some lambs and also learned about how fresh milk is gathered from sheep and goats.
The students interviewed the farmer to learn more about his work. The students also planted seeds and enjoyed the company of these animals.

Fruit and Vegetables…
The Year 2 students visited fields at Dingli. Students observed different fruit, vegetables and leaves used to give flavour to our food.

What’s the time?
The Year 2 students of Ms Stephanie Azzopardi learned how to sequence events according to time and explain what activities take place at the hour and half hour. Children learned how to find the duration between one activity and the other (Sequence/ Technical/Precision).
Fieldwork at Buskett…
Children had a nature trail in the countryside and they could learn about the diversity of leaves, flowers, trees and bushes found in the Maltese landscape.

Archaeologists Invade the School Garden
The Year 2 students of Ms Stephanie Azzopardi took the role of archaeologists and explored the school garden.
