Water Play
It’s that time of the year when the heat become unbearable. So water play serves the purpose to held children cool down, while enjoying some time together making up their own games.

A Day at Buskett Gardens
After lunch the children were asked to make friend s with a tree by hugging it. They observed how high or low trees are and monitored what`s under the tree i.e. exposed roots, fallen leaves, grass, twigs, stones, pine cones, insects (worms, ants and spiders). They also spotted glue oozing out from the tree trunk and a spider web near it.
Some boys climbed up on tree trunks and balanced on a tree log. Others worked together to lift a long narrow tree log…. What a day!Submitted by Ms Lucienne Vella, Kindergarten Educator
Strawberry picking, farming and more…
The K1.1 students of Ms Elaine Scerri, spent a morning on one of the local farms. The students enjoyed playing in girna, learning about the growth of watermelons and the care needed to grow strawberries.
The students also had a go at holding hens and picking up freshly laid eggs.
What a fantastic morning 🙂
Sunflower Park
The K1.1 students of Ms Elaine Scerri enjoyed a day at the sunflower park riding ponies and chariots, while learning how to care for this wonderful animals.
Mud Play
The K1.3 students of Ms Nagaat Bugeja enjoyed a mud play session enhancing sensory skills, while getting in touch with nature.

The K1.3 students visited the airport with their KE and parents to reinforce the learning experiences based on the topic “Aeroplanes” as part of their emergent curriculum. The students visited the viewing gallery and observation deck.

Promoting a healthy life style from an early age
These kindergarten students have been having weekly physical education sessions organised by the Sports department. These lessons are held by qualified PE teachers.
