The Happy Prince at San Anton Gardens

This week Year 1.1 children visited San Anton Gardens. The children participated in a very meaningful play based on the story ‘The Happy Prince’ written by Oscar Wilde. After this, the children had the opportunity to visit the garden where they learnt a lot about nature.

They had lunch next to the turtle pond and then, they had the opportunity to observe several ducks and ducklings in the garden’s main pond. They also saw the black swan’s eggs. The children enjoyed looking at the colourful flowers, some busy bees at work, a lot of insects and also going around and under the magnificent trees.#

Maths Trail at San Anton Gardens

The year 4 classes went for a Maths trail at San Anton garden. Students had fun doing Maths concepts outside the classroom. Students were encouraged and motivated to investigate problem-solving situations. They also had the opportunity to discover Maths application in the real world.
Due to the fact that students were very well behaved they were given an orange each. It was really juicy and tasted very good. Even teachers enjoyed the activity to the  full!!
