With the help of the story “The three little pigs”. Story and song – story sequence and flashcards. Related activities: Numeracy: house measuring, counting of 3 pigs, 3 houses,3 hats etc.
Science: air can move things. The wolf blows the houses down. Hot or cold water. Sensory trays: twigs, straws, lego bricks, leaves and plastic pigs. Crafts: pigs and wolf mask, building house craft, stick puppets, pig balloons.

K2.3 visited two farms within walking distance from school. Although some children complained about the walk they enjoyed it. They were overwhelmed with this experience. They were able to hold, pet, feed and bottle feed the animals and sow some basil seeds.
The students really enjoyed this experience.

The kindergarten students enjoyed an outdoor activities creating patterns, shapes and horizontal lines using pebbles and paint.

The Kinder 1 students visited San Anton Gardens. During their visit students learned about trees and gardens. They had story telling sessions and other hands-on activities.
K1.3 pupils of Ms Nagaat Bugeja were taken to the greengrocer shop next to the school to practice numeracy skills. They followed a simple and short shopping list to make a purchase whilst practising number recognition and value.
Pupils enjoyed making fruit kebabs with the purchased fruit.

The K1.3 students of Ms Nagaat Bugeja planting flower bulbs while learning how flowers grow and what is needed to ensure their growth.
The kindergarten students visited the playmobil park. Play is vital for children especially in their early stages of development. The park provides a suitable place to allow space for free play and pretend play, while students socialise with their classmates.
Testing the emergent curriculum at Kindergarten level. Ms Nag offered her K1.4 students learning opportunities to explore, play and build their confidence outdoors in the school garden, while observing the children’s interests.
The K2.3 sudents of Ms Lucienne Vella visited the Police Dog Section. Students observed how dogs are trained while learning about the skills required to train these dogs.
