The K1.3 students of Ms Joanne Galea enjoyed making sausage rolls. During this cookery lessons students enhanced their fine motor skills, while learning about food and hygiene. In a separate session students cooked some delicious biscuits.
The Kindergarten students of Ms Joanne and Ms Josianne prepared some chocolate hearts to share a message of love with the classmates and teachers on St. Valentine’s Day. Let us share the love and let’s celebrate on this special occasion.
The K1.1 students of Ms Josianne Camilleri had an interesting activity prepared by the student teacher. The students experimented with spray painting and learned about evaporation by painting with water on the wall.
The Kindergarten students visited Zeffie’s where they had a hands-on cookery session. Students prepared their own pizza 🙂
The Kindergarten 1 classes joined forces to cook a delicious and healthy meal based on pasta. Tuna fish, sweet corn and olives where added together with olive oil and cheese. The students also enjoyed making their own collages with pasta while having a good time working together as a team.

Offering students a holistic approach is important. Such teaching and learning provides students with an opportunity to learn literacy and numeracy integrated with subjects such as art, craft and music.

The K2.1 students of Ms Lucienne had a blast at the playmobil fun park. They were spoilt for choice for toys and had the opportunity to play freely in a fun environment.
The Kindergarten students have had a number of story telling sessions animated by Ms Patricia Gatt from the National Literacy Agency. Parents were invited for these sessions.
The sessions where held in English. Above students can be seen actively participating in the Story Keith with the Magic Hat. Below students role played various characters during the story What the Ladybird Heard.
The K2.1 students visited the Sun Flower Farm where they had to opportunity to ride ponies, go for a ride on a horse drawn carriage, while learning about taking good care of ponies and horses and the work involved in grooming them and feeding them.
The kindergarten students of Ms Janice Vella having been learning about numbers and their value during numeracy lessons held at school. The students were given tins and students had to place the correct number of items according to the number. They also had to recognise the numbers.
