The Yr 1.2 students of Ms Marilyn were exploring colours by using paint and paintbrushes. This lesson was linked to Maths Shapes. Students were asked to create squares and rectangles using various colours.
The year 4.1 students of Ms. Angelique have built a robot to create art. The children worked in groups and as a team they built a robot with the materials provided. When it was finished they put their robot on a cardboard paper and connected the wires to the motor. The robot started moving in an unpredictable manner and hence creating art.
A holistic education programme would be incomplete if students are not encouraged to enhance their creativity through artistic skills and techniques. Our art teacher, Mr Scicluna, does his utmost to encourage students to be creative while creating their own works of art using various techniques.

The K1.2 students of Ms Joanne Galea have been discussing the importance of healthy eating. During a number of sessions the students spoke about fruit and vegetables. Not only are they colourful, but fruit and vegetables are very healthy for us human beings.
To help the students thing more positively about fruit and vegetables, Ms Joanne helped the students create a beautiful collage using orange and lemon printing, cabbage leaves and artichoke leaves.
Such activities help build students’ fine motor skills and socialising skills. Well done to our little artists 🙂
