The school promotes a healthy lifestye thus the year 6 students visited the Luxol football ground for an intensive training session. During break time the children had the opportunity to use the facilities at the Luxol Stadium, where a small playground was also available for the students to play in. It is evident that the students, teachers and LSAs had a great time while learning to be more active 🙂
During a Show and Tell session held once a week during which a student is considered to be the Star of the Week, Alessia, brought her pet dog to school and demonstrated to her classmates how to groom and take care of a pet. The students enjoyed this session and had quite some entertainment provided by their four-legged friend 🙂
The year 4.2 students of Ms Claudine had a hands-on session during which they were given coins. The students were given situations and they had to reason out the amount of money to be paid and change to be rendered, if any.
The Year 4.2 students of Ms Claudine during a creative writing task. The students where asked to draw a picture to help them describe their friend. After a brainstorming session the students came up with phrases and adjectives to elaborate their writing. Finally they were free to write their own descriptions.
It’s that time of the year when exams are over and our students can relax and enjoy the fun that carnival brings along. Carnival celebrations kicked off with a special assembly focusing on yet another science experiment held by the year 3.1 students of Ms Rosette.
After celebrating in class, the students, parents and all members of staff enjoyed a fantastic show put up by the parents helpers who animated and danced the song Ghosts Busters. The students also had the opportunity to watch their teachers performing another dance.
On days like these we truly show the team spirit that is fostered at our school which is shared among all shareholders. Well done to all for making this another memorable day for our students 🙂
The Kindergarten students of Ms Joanne have been busy preparing a carnival float. They were very happy when their friend Sponge Bob was ready. Well done to our little artists 🙂
The Year 4 pupils went for their Social Studies fieldwork at Mġarr. During their visit the pupils had to find out information about their village. Such experiences help the students to become more aware of their home town, while learning in a more practical and hands on manner.
Every week the Year 4.1 pupils have the opportunity to be the Star of the Week. They are encouraged to bring an item in class and talk about it. Such sessions enhance the students self confidence and help them to enhance their public speaking skills 🙂
The Year 4 students had 3 swimming sessions at the National Pool of Malta at Tal-Qroqq. The students enjoyed these sessions and looked forward for more 🙂
