Mass was celebrated by Dun Kalcidon Vassallo on Ash Wednesday in preparation for Lent. A message of love was celebrated during mass since today happened to be Valentine’s Day.

Odd and Even
Year 6.1 students during a maths lesson learning about odd and even, while truly understanding what make a number either odd or even.

Valentine’s Day Chocolates…
The Kindergarten students of Ms Joanne and Ms Josianne prepared some chocolate hearts to share a message of love with the classmates and teachers on St. Valentine’s Day. Let us share the love and let’s celebrate on this special occasion.
Valentine’s Day Special Assembly
The Yr 3.1 students prepared a special assembly for Valentine’s day with the aim of sharing love among one another. The students animated the assembly with a dance and with messages of love.
Carnival 2018
Carnival 2018 celebrations as Mgarr were once again a great way for students and teachers to have fun in a very informal manner. We would like to thank the parent helpers and members of the school council who ensured the smooth distribution of food to all students. Thanks to Ms Rodger for capturing memories of this day.
Well done to all the students who participated in the talent show.
Planting Papaya Seeds…
The Green Club had a blast learning about papaya during one of their meetings. Ms Rodgers helped the students plant their own seeds and gave the students a taster of these healthy exotic fruit. We hope to grow these seedlings into healthy trees in the school garden.
Team Building Events for Members of Staff
The members of staff had a team building event organised by the Physical Education teachers, Ms Rebecca Bonello and Ms Chanel Micallef Cassar. Apart from enhancing a healthy team spirit, members of staff had time to reflect upon where the school stands and where the school should aim for 🙂
Umbrella Collage
The Year 1 students of Ms Mathea Vassallo made an umbrella collage. Apart from enhancing their creativity students practised their fine motor skills and cutting skills.
Science at Esplora…
The Year 2.2 students of visited the Esplora centre where they engaged in scientific workshops.
Spray painting and Evaporation
The K1.1 students of Ms Josianne Camilleri had an interesting activity prepared by the student teacher. The students experimented with spray painting and learned about evaporation by painting with water on the wall.
