Shadows follow us, haunt us, amaze us, entertain us… But how do they form? The Year 1.1 students prepared a great show for their school mates during a special assembly. Moreover they taught their audiences how shadows can be cast and what causes a shadow to appear.

Intervista lill-assistent kap tal-iskola dwar il-Kunsill tal-Istudenti
L-istudenti tar-raba sena ta’ Ms Claudine għamlu intervista lill-assistent kap tal-iskola, Ms Borg Vella li tieħu ħsieb il-Kunsill tal-Istudenti. F’din l-intervista staqsew dan li ġej:
- Għalfejn jeżisti l-kunsill tal-istudenti?
- Kemm ilek fil-kunsill?
- Kemm hemm tfal fil-kunsill tal-iskola tagħna?
- X’inhu x-xogħol tiegħek mal-kunsill tal-istudenti?
- Għaliex dħalt membru? Tħobb tagħmel dan ix-xogħol?
- Aħna t-tfal kif nistgħu ngħinu lill-iskola?
Minn dan l-eżerċizzju t-tfal kellhom l-opportunita’ jitgħallmu kif issir intervista u fl-istess ħin l-assistent kap kellha ċans titkellem mal-istudenti dwar ix-xogħol tal-Kunsill tal-Istudenti.

Glorious Citta’ Notabile (Mdina)
On Tuesday 22nd March 2016, the last day of school before the Easter holidays, the two Year 5 classes paid a visit to Malta’s old capital city, Mdina. While exploring this wonderful city, we mingled with the many tourists coming from various countries, some of which stopped to say hello or comment about the beauty of this historic medieval city.
Together we experienced the thrill of leaping into the past as we walked up and down many of the narrow and winding streets and spacious squares, stopping here and there to admire the various churches and palaces, amongst which the impressive St. Paul’s Cathedral, Palazzo Falson and the most interesting National Museum of Natural History hosted inside Vilhena Palace. We stopped for two breaks, one atop the bastions, from where we could admire the splendid view, and another in the public garden found in the restored Mdina ditch. The children had such a good time while learning to appreciate our national heritage.
